Habitat ReStore

UTK Habitat for Humanity has strong ties with the Knoxville Habitat ReStore. The ReStore and Thrift Store combined into one location in October 2014, and the store is now located just off of Kingston Pike about 10 minutes west of campus.
Volunteers from UTK Habitat are encouraged to spend some time helping out at the ReStore, and they're always happy to have us year-round!

Builds

Builds are held mainly in the Fall semester and are always located within 10-12 minutes from the UT campus.
They're a great way to really get out there and do some manual labor! Meeting new people, helping out others, learning new skills... it's a win all around!
We hope that many people will be interested in getting involved with these, as they're a very important part of the organization as a whole!

Blitz Build

The Blitz Build is a HUGE event and takes place toward the end of the Spring Semester! It's generally a week-long event, partnered with the Knoxville Habitat for Humanity, where there is rapid-construction of several homes. It's an awesome way to get some building in during the Spring Semester!

Community Activities

There are also a few community activities that we're always happy to be involved with. In the past, we've been involved with events like Block Parties, Valentine's Craft Parties, Christmas Parties, etc., and we plan on continuing these!
